History and Nature of the Northern Bohemia (from Dresden)

Our First stop of this a day-long trip from Prague will be at the Terezin Memorial and Terezin Fortress. During World War II the bigger part of this Fortress was turned into Jewish ghetto and "the small fortress" into the prison of Gestapo. Thousands of Jewish people and other prisoners died here or were transported into the concentration camps. Your professional guide will escort you around the entire complex of the former Terezin Fortress and provide you with informative narration, authentic memories and chilling experiences from Terezin's grim history.

 

Later we will continue northwards to a small town of Benesov nad Ploucnici where we will visit the Chateaux Complex. The Chateaux is built in a Saxon Renaissance architecture style and is considered to be one of a kind. 

 

Afterwards, we will head for lunch that will be especially prepared for us. The homemade crepes will leave you wanting more!

 

After satisfying lunch we drive on to our last stop - the Tisa Rock City where we will explore the hidden alleyways of this magnificent rock formation.

 

Then we return back to Dresden.
